Ring Slings
General idea: Silk is a natural fiber made from silk worms. Silk fabric is strong, breathes well, and is famous for it's ability to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. The slings here are made from silk dupioni; with a nubby textures and exotic sheen, these slings are gorgeous, remarkably lightweight, and will soften over time to feel butterlicious. They probably aren't as durable as linen or cotton, but they're marvelous in their own right. Choose double layer silk slings for carrying heavier toddlers and greater durability. Single-layer silk slings are not as durable, but they weigh very little and, with a fancy panel, absolutely stunning.
Care: If you have to, machine wash cold, delicate, with woolite or a bit of shampoo. No bleach and no dryer. Iron on high with lots of steam if you want it to look less wrinkled. Otherwise, general spot cleaning and handwashing are preferred.
Notes: These sling have already been washed once, dried briefly in the dryer to reduce shrinkage, and ironed. I do this to soften the fabric and rinse out extra dye.
These slings are ~27" wide, a bit narrower than our standard width.
